So, Aldous Huxley, the author of Brave New World, was suffering from throat cancer and ordered his wife to inject him with a monstrous dose of LSD at the moment when he felt he was dying. That same day, a few hours after he was injected with LSD, while he was still alive, JFK was killed.
… And that's when the all the shit in the world started, from the Cold War onwards.
The question is - what if we all, in fact, live in Huxley's trip?
What if the world, in fact, is really just a roller coaster ride, as Bill Hicks put it?
And we can change it whenever we want. To begin with, you need to understand that you are on a ride. It's just, you don't have to finish the game. You need to find a cheat for the game.
Your life is on the other ride.
You know? Like when you finish a castle in Super Mario and they tell you - sorry, your princess is in another castle. It's the same in life - just because you've figured out that it's all just a ride, doesn't mean you're in the right seat. Because, maybe the ride you're on doesn't lead you where you want to go at all.
What if the others have already crossed over to the bumper car rides while you are still trying to catch the duck on the carousel? And they persistently let you win and get a free ride. And you keep on riding. And you think to yourself, fuck, I feel really cool. But you just think that it's great, in fact it's all the same - everything goes in circle.
Because, after all, in the end - while others change rides, you still hold on to the duck.
